About
Us: June Groom was elected Treasurer/Ex-Officio Collector in
2004 and began term on April 1, 2005. Most elected official terms
begin January 1, but in 2007, the statute changed to have central
collections and do away with Township Collectors. At that time, the
official title changed to Collector/Treasurer. There are 22 counties
in the state of Missouri that are now Collector/Treasurers. The
other counties have an elected Collector and an elected Treasurer.
Additional
Staff: Dee Lain Sanderson is Collector Deputy and has worked in
the office since April, 2005; Sharon Flook is Treasurer Deputy and
has worked in the office since August, 2005.
