Information: The library opened in July, 2011, and provides free
services to Caldwell County residents. The library is located in the former County Health Department building at 275 South Washington in Kingston, Missouri. The library
offers a collection of books, magazines, audio and visual media on loan to Caldwell County residents free of charge.
Computers are available at no cost for public use and feature high-speed internet and word processing. The library includes a genealogy/family history room,
children's room and a community room. The community room is available at no cost to Caldwell County non-profit organizations. Reservations
may be made by calling the library or a library board member.

The library is staffed by volunteers and depends on donations and fundraisers to pay for operating expenses.
A library fund has been established under the Caldwell County Foundation,
a 501(c)3 tax-deductible organization which oversees all expenditures and donations.
All donations are greatly appreciated and may be mailed to Caldwell County Foundation,
c/o Wendy Bowen (Caldwell County Foundation Treasurer), 23 West Main Street, Kingston,
MO 64650. Please be sure to indicate that your donation is to go to the library.
Please contact a
board member if your organization would like to sponsor a fundraiser or if you would like to become a member of The Friends of the Library. There is no charge for membership in Friends of the Library; it is a group of people that support the library by volunteering, providing ideas, and or monetary support.
